The TMF 55 is a system of aluminium profiles for the construction of structural, semi-structural and continuous external cladding with a thermal bridge break. The basic TMF 55 system consists of two subsystems, the TMF C55 for the construction of continuous external cladding and the TMF S55 for the construction of semi-structural external cladding.


Cladding systems can be divided into structural, semi-structural, and combined. All the systems feature an integrated thermal break. The external cladding has excellent thermal insulation properties.


Continuous cladding is designed for the construction of glazed aluminium external cladding, as well as roof lanterns with a minimal pitch of 10%. Continuous cladding offers the option of using double- and triple-layer glass filling. This option offers extremely good thermal performance Uf=0.6 W/m2K. The fillings can also be made from other materials, with the thickness from 2 mm to 56 mm.


The structural glazed aluminium cladding system features a minimalistic look with a visible surface consisting of only glass, without external profiles for fixing the glass fillings. The glass panes are attached to the horizontal and vertical aluminium support structure for the cladding with completely concealed connecting elements. The structural cladding offers the option of using double- and triple-layer glass fillings.

Glass panes

Aside from the ALU profile, the insulation properties of ALU windows also depend on the glazing method. Lately, with increased awareness and necessity to save energy, there is a higher representation of triple-layer 44 mm thick glass panes, with the 4-16-4-16-4 composition, low-e coating, and gas fills. At Iveta, we produce the glass panes ourselves and we are able to fully control the quality of the final product and reduce the production and delivery time.

Those are the reasons why aluminium joinery is popular in modern construction, and architects are fond of it. Aside from standard aluminium joinery, the aluminium-wood combination is also increasing in popularity. The best qualities of these two materials are combined – strength of aluminium and the excellent insulation properties of wood.

Semi-structural systems

The semi-structural glazed aluminium cladding system features prominent horizontal profiles, caps on the exterior of the cladding, while there are no vertical profiles and the glass is structurally fixed to the primary structure. The combination of structural and continuous systems offers a wide range of possibilities for the implementation of various design solutions, with the goal of emphasizing the previously selected lines and directions on the cladding. With the option of double- or triple-layer glass fillings, the semi-structural cladding will find their application in all segments of modern architecture, particularly in cases of highly demanding areas of energy efficiency and technical characteristics of the entire system.

The RAL colour palette

It represents the colours from the RAL 840HR Colour Register, developed in the German Institute of Quality Assurance (RAL), where colours have numerical designations. The Colour Register is divided into eight groups of colours with numerical designations that partially overlap. The following characteristic numbers have been selected for the RAL groups of colours: RAL 1000 yellow colours RAL 2000 orange colours RAL 3000 red colours RAL 4000 purple colours RAL 5000 blue colours RAL 6000 green colours RAL 7000 grey colours RAL 8000 brown colours RAL 9000 white and black aluminium shades.


The aluminium profiles we use have a certificate from Ift Rosenheim. Ift Rosenheim GmbH Germany is an authorised European body for testing, supervision, and certification, with an international accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, authorised to set the rules for defining and assuring quality.

Joinery maintenance

ALU doors and windows should occasionally be wiped using a damp cloth and warm water. We do not recommend using coarse sponges and wire sponges, or cleaning agents of any kind. Regularly remove dust and other residue from the profiles, fittings, gaskets, and from the edges of the profiles.
